Yes, thats me (dsc02151), and Dan McClain ( Mr. www.mustangworks.com) getting a ride in a car for more than 10.xx seconds at a time! :)

The white #77 (2002001-2002006) was incredibly well prepared. Its a Robert Yates Racing engine $$$!!! He custom designed the electronic fuel injection and built it all himself. He actually, built the entire CAR himself. His ex(?) friend was driving it, when the drivers front caliper bolts sheered off, jamming the caliper into the wheel... spun the car, and went passer-rear-tailight into the wall. Needs a fair amount of body work, but the car structure is still in tact. Bummer! I had a reserved seat the next session out, but that was before it was hurt. :(

The orange car was Alex (in my party) and he "pulled" all 5 lugnut threads off the nuts. Yeah, he ended up with 5 "washers" (not threaded lug nuts). Looks worse than it was massaged to. A new rotor, some rubber mallets, and almost good as new. On a race car I wouldnt have even painted it, it was bumped out that clean.

The GT40 (photo#2166/2167) forgot his hoodpins for the rear clip. At speed, he lost the entire back half of his car. It tore off his car, hit the white LX in the windhield (and a few other bumps/bruises on the hood/fender...). THEN, the piece bounces and strikes yet ANOTHER Mustang. Wipes out 2 Mustangs!!!

I had 2 rotors that were filled with spider cracks that should have been replaced. After the first session, BOTH went to the edge... Picked up a set used from a fellow racer, and went to put them on. (2002080.jpg)
So I was jacking up the car to replace them, and the jack slipped off the round tubular k-member, and fell onto the rack, (bad luck) and hit the edge of the jack right on the fitting just right, and wasted a rack... (2002175.jpg)
That took me out of driving on sunday, so I spent most of the afternoon on pit wall, with my thumb out. Got PLENTY of track time that way... (dsc02203.jpg)

Special thanks for the Tone family, that let me join their party.
Tid-bit of info: Of the 6 cars in the Tone party, 5 First places and 1 Second place at the autocross!!! (I didnt run, on my rookie year).
